The V2 Holden Monaro was the car that was never to be designed/built let alone realised to the public eye. The car was only to be built as an internal study, says Mike Simcoe the brain child of the design. With only 350 Turbine grey CV8-Rs built, and only 140 being the more desirable six speed manual this is a rare car indeed. How many have been written off/stolen never to be seen again? With only 140 manual Turbine CR8-Rs being built (a lot more limited in numbers than the CR8-Z) this car is a sound investment that will only increase in value over the years due to its rarity. Having only 24, 891kms, the Monaro presents as new and would suit the most astute collector. This Monaro has to be seen to be believed. Inspection will not disappoint. This is a one owner car having spent all it life locked away in a garage and never being driven in the rain. The interior is as new as is the boot, under the bonnet and underneath the car. The CV8-R still has that new car smell. The original tires still have plenty of tread and the car has no signs of damage nor has it ever been involved in an accident as would be expected.
